2. Import One or More Frameworks

Once a framework has been approved, it becomes available in the policy section. CSFaaS offers you the opportunity to import your framework structure in the policy section in order to create some policies based on those frameworks.

If multiple frameworks are imported, categories, sub-categories, and controls from these frameworks can be merged, with links to the frameworks adjusted automatically and manually in the framework section.


Steps to Import a Framework​

  • Navigate to the Policies section.

  • Click on the three vertical dots in the top-right corner of your screen.

  • Select “Add New Policy”.

  • A drawer will appear.

  • Go to the “Import Framework” section.

  • Select a framework from the dropdown menu.

  • Click the “Import Policies” button at the bottom of the drawer – and that’s it!


📌 Note​

  • A policy will be created for each applicable domain.
  • Ensure that domains, categories, and subcategories are marked as 'Applicable'.
  • Sections not marked as 'Applicable' will be excluded.
  • A framework cannot be imported twice for policies.
