5. The 2 ways to edit the controls

You can edit your controls using two distinct methods, depending on your workflow preference:

  • Editing from the Policies Menu or
  • Managing them centrally from the Control Menu.

1. Edit your Controls from your policies

Editing controls directly from the Policies Menu is often the initial and most intuitive approach, as controls are typically created and associated with policies from the start.

  • Navigate to your desired Policy, Category, or Subcategory.
  • Locate the Control Card within the chosen category or subcategory.
  • Instantly edit the control directly from the card view.

This approach ensures a contextual workflow, allowing you to manage controls in alignment with their respective policies.

2. Edit your Controls from the Control Menu

The Controls Panel serves as a central hub for managing and monitoring all policy controls in one place.

  • Easily view, edit, and manage controls without navigating through individual policies.
  • Use advanced filter options to search, sort, and locate specific controls quickly.
  • Perform the same actions available in individual policy views, but with the efficiency of a consolidated interface.

This streamlined method provides a comprehensive overview, improving productivity, clarity, and consistency across your controls.
