Once you have created your policies, you can manage the categories and subcategories within them to organise and structure your policies effectively.
Key Features for Managing Categories and Subcategories
Edit Categories and Subcategories
Update the codes, define their names, and provide descriptions to accurately reflect their purpose.
Add New Categories and Subcategories
Create additional categories and subcategories as needed to expand and enhance your policies.
Delete Categories and Subcategories
Remove outdated or unnecessary categories and subcategories to keep your policies current and relevant.
Reorder Categories and Subcategories
Use drag-and-drop functionality to reorganise categories and subcategories, improving the logical flow of your policies.
Move Categories to Policies
Reassign a category to become a standalone policy if needed.
Move Subcategories to Categories
Promote subcategories to categories as required.
Set Maturity Levels
Define both current and target maturity levels for each category and subcategory to monitor progress and set improvement goals.
Assign Owners
Owners can be assigned to each Policies Categories and Subcategories to ensure accountability and clarity. Steps to Assign Owners:

Click on the "Owners" button.

In the drawer, select one or multiple users as owners.

Specify whether the ownership should be applied recursively to underlying categories and subcategories.

Click the blue "Assign Owners" button to save your changes.
Add and Manage Evidence
Attach supporting documentation—such as audit reports, procedures, or policies—to substantiate each domain, category, and subcategory.
Link Policy Items to Frameworks
Establish traceability by linking categories and subcategories to their associated frameworks.
Collaborate and Document
Facilitate teamwork by adding comments, documenting changes, and maintaining a modification history for transparency and accountability.
Add Controls to Categories and Subcategories
Define specific controls for each category and subcategory, which will serve as the actionable measures to be effectively implemented and adhered to within your organisation.

Each category has a unique standard code displayed at the top of its card (e.g., PC_00001, PC_00002, etc for categories and PSC_00001, PSC_00002, etc. for subcategories), ensuring uniqueness and traceability within your environment.
