7. Involved Systems

Understanding the systems involved in a risk assessment demand is essential for gaining a clear view of the technical and operational context.

The Involved Systems section allows you to identify and document systems, including infrastructure, applications, or platforms, that are directly or indirectly linked to the current risk.

By mapping involved systems, organisations can:

  • Understand technical dependencies: Identify how systems interact and depend on each other.
  • Assess vulnerabilities: Pinpoint weaknesses within critical systems.
  • Improve operational clarity: Gain insight into how systems contribute to risk exposure.
  • Prioritise technical controls: Focus security measures on high-risk systems.

To add new systems:

  • **Click the '+' button on the right.
  • Select or define the systems relevant to the current demand.
  • Repeat the process as needed to include all relevant systems.

Adding involved systems helps provide a detailed understanding of the demand's technical and operational context, ensuring that risks are assessed and addressed with precision and clarity.

This approach ensures that no technical aspect is overlooked, enabling a thorough and informed risk management process.
